New wing and swimming pool complex

We were asked to provide additional accommodation for family and staff, to replace the existing 10m swimming pool with a 20m pool, to improve the quality of light to the house generally and to improve the links between the principle rooms the garden. We achieved the additional space for the family with a completely new wing to the existing asymmetric house, and staff accommodation above a new triple garage extension.

Working in conjunction with the Client’s interior designers, our brief extended to the refurbishment of the entire house, including a new family room extension, cinema and gym, and also including the latest, cutting-edge technology for user-friendly smooth-running of their home.

The various extensions increased the floor area of the house by over 5,000 sq ft.

We designed a terrace over the new pool extension, incorporating a timber pergola and stone columns and linking the ground floor reception rooms with the re-landscaped garden.
