Extension and refurbishment of Listed Building

Our client purchased this grade 2 listed building adjoining Hampstead Heath. The house was constructed in 1805, and was in a semi-derelict condition, including rambling outhouses. Extensive updating and upgrading was obviously required!

It was important to increase the quality of light in the house, and this was achieved with new skylights and additional windows, as well as the opening up and formation of a double-height family-room to replace the outhouses.

We have retained the special period character and charm of this delightful house, and designed it to provide bright airy rooms, suitable for today’s contemporary family lifestyle.
