Extension and refurbishment

Our Clients asked for a substantial increase in the size of their ground floor flat leading onto a large garden. The works included the complete refurbishment and re-design of the rest of the entire flat, with single-storey extensions to the side and the rear.

A double-height space already existed and had formerly been used as a drama studio. We significantly extended this, opening up the space into the slope of the roof, and adding a new mezzanine. This space is now used as the family living-room, and as a dramatic entertainment room with new high-level rooflights creating a sense of light and airiness.
